Your academic journey is unique, and it’s okay if you don’t have a plan just yet. Here are some resources that will support you as you explore your academic options and work toward earning your degree.
- Beyond orientation, you will meet with your academic advisor at least once prior to registering for classes each semester. They are here to help make sure you are on the right path to your desired degree. You can schedule an appointment with your advisor through SAGE.
- If you are undecided on your major, do not worry! You are not alone! UGA has many resources to help you discover the path that aligns with your interests and goals.
- The Exploratory Center is here to support you in exploring your academic options while working towards degree completion.
- The UGA Career Center also offers many resources to help you explore majors and careers.
- You can also search the UGA Bulletin anytime to explore majors, minors, and certificate programs; search for courses; and compare majors.
- DegreeWorks is a web-based tool to help you and your advisor monitor your progress toward your degree by helping you see how the courses you’ve completed count toward degree requirements and see what courses and requirements still need to be completed.
