DAWG CAMP DESTINATION

Dawg Camp Destination

August 8-11, 2025

Designed just for out-of-state students and those traveling from afar, Dawg Camp Destination helps you hit the ground running at UGA. Over the course of a weekend, you’ll build community—with UGA, with Athens, and most importantly, with fellow students who understand your unique journey. Whether you’re from 90 miles away or 3 hours from home, Dawg Camp Destination is a roadmap that will provide you the opportunity to feel confident in their new home, connect with peers, and prepare them to make the most of their college experience.

Another unique feature of Dawg Camp Destination is that there is a track that allows guests and student supporters to register for their own experience! We understand that sending a student to college can be a significant transition for family members as well. Guests will be given a similar schedule that will provide them the opportunity to network with other families, process the transition, and feel connected with the place their student will now call home.

Students: $100
Guests: $75

This cost includes all meals, program materials, and transportation from UGA to the program sites. Parking is an additional cost. *Participants will be responsible for their housing for the duration of Dawg Camp Destination. They will also be responsible for their transportation to and from camp.
