Transition Leaders work closely with the Department of University Transitions to create meaningful experiences that support the unique needs of students throughout their time at UGA.

VISIT us at the Engagement Fair on January 23, 2024 from 7 pm to 10 pm.*

ATTEND the virtual information session on February 1, 2024 at 4 pm.*

COMPLETE your application by Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Any currently enrolled full-time UGA student in good academic standing and graduating Spring 2025 or later is eligible to apply, including freshmen/first years and transfer students!

You should plan to commit an average of 3 hours each week to this role. August and January are peak times for this role and may require additional hours. Please review the position description for mandatory dates and further details regarding the time commitment for this role.

Please keep in mind that being a Transition Leader is a commitment. Each of the required dates represents a key component of the Transition Leader role. However, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis provided you communicate in advance and demonstrate effort in other areas of the role. No, there will not be interviews for this position. Selections will be based on the quality of applicants’ responses to supplemental application questions. We encourage you to provide thoughtful and comprehensive responses in your application.
