3rd year

As you make your way toward graduation, it's time to hunker down. DEVELOP and implement your plans to achieve your goals!

Pathway to Success

Junior year is the time to re-energize and build momentum for senior year. This pathway is designed to help you navigate your third year at UGA. Integrate these suggestions as they best fit into your personal and academic goals.

Review the Plan

  • Review DegreeWorks with your advisor to make sure you are on track with general education requirements and major courses.
  • Make sure you have met (or have plans to meet) the History and Political Science Requirement which can be satisfied through approved coursework or examinations administered by University Testing Services.
      • If you have not yet met the requirement and plan to take one or both of the exemption exams with University Testing Services, start studying now and plan to complete this requirement the semester before you graduate. That way, if you are unsuccessful in passing the exam, you will have time to register for the class.

  • Enhance Your Experience

    Build Connections

  • Mentor a first or second year student.

  • Lead on Campus
